Simulation News Europe - July-August Issue

Dear Colleague,
welcome to the July-August issue of the electronic
Simulation News Europe Newsletter of EUROSIS.

This issue has the following topics:
1) New Server
2) Membership update
3) Call for EUROSIS Conferences IPC Members
4) Call for Conference Track/ Tutorial/Speaker Proposals
5) EUROSIS Conferences Updates
6) New EUROSIS Publication
7) Job Offers

1) Server
As we moved to a new and powerful server this newsletter
is somewhat belated and this also means that you will be receiving
a number of delayed conference announcements at a very high rate,
for which I apologize. This is only temporary. The normal mailing
frequency will be resumed at the end of next week.

Also conference websites are a bit delayed but will start appearing
from this week onwards.
The reason we migrated to a new server is the fact that we envisage
in the not too far future to add searchable databases to the site.

2) Membership Update
At long last we now have an account for our members and we can
start inviting you to become active members of EUROSIS. The
membership site will go live from September 2009. I will do a
special mailing at that time explaining the aim, duties and professional
advantages of becoming a EUROSIS member. See more info on
http://www.eurosis.org/cms/?q=node/63

3) Call for IPC Members
Every year we invite you to become active in one of our events for
the coming year(s), so if you want to be involved
then please email me mentioning the conference and track.

If you are already involved in one or more of the events and you
wish to stay on in your position, do not email me. I will assume you wish
to stay on.

If, however, you wish to change tracks or conferences or wish to be
excused send me an email

You need to get back to me on this by the 15th of September, 2009
