If you are interested in any of these projects
then please get back to me by the 15th of January

I will link all projects expanded below on
our projects page in the next couple of
days.
1) Project with SHELL USA
Some EUROSIS members are looking for contacts
in the USA ONLY for a future project with SHELL USA.
The candidates/partners for this project should be
specialised in the field of multimodal
traffic/transport/logistics simulation.
If you are interested then email me by the 15th
of January with your CV and a list of past projects
in pdf or word format.
2) Games Project at the University of Hull
This is part of an email I received from the University
of Hull on EU Grants for games research.
We have had an initial meeting with the EU representative
of Yorkshire Forward and they suggest there are an
optimum number of partners on EU grants.
The main things to make clear are, the scheme is designed
for Masters or Doctorate level students; we need
representations both from across the EU and across the
main game disciplines, Art, Design and Technical.
We have only just started looking for partners but in
Education terms we have expressions of interest from the
three MSc courses in Yorkshire, the MSc in Games at
Trinity Collage Dublin.
From industry we have expressions of interest from all
the regional developers – including Rock Star, Team 17
and Sumo Digital, and some developers in mainland Europe;
we also have good links with Sony and Microsoft. We are
still short of Design and Art courses in Europe and,
although I do have some contacts, help in these areas
would be greatly appreciated.
Yorkshire Forward is prepared to fund the application
process and is talking about employing a consultant to
head up the bid.
Jon Purdy.
If you are interested in this project please get back
to me by the 15th of January quoting 2
3) WWI FPS Shooter
At present we are in the process of setting
up a WW1 FPS games project with several Flemish
research institutes, academic partners, war museums
and the Flemish ministry of Culture. As this project
has international potential we will definitely need
non-Belgian partners at a later stage in the
development of the FPS development expansion.
If you are interested in being kept in the loop then
email me back by the 15th of January by quoting number
3
4) Flash Board Game from India
We received at the EUROSS office a Flash based board
game from India for which the developer is now looking
for a partner developer to enhance the game and/or a
distributor.
If you are interested in the game then email me and quote
4 and I will put you into contact with the developer and
send you a copy of the game.
Regards
Philippe
