EUROSIS Technical Committees
The TC's or Technical Committees represent the Scientific Board of the European Simulation Society, which consists of two levels.
- The Scientific Board which represents the TC's at the Board of Trustees. This Board, is made up of a President, a Secretary and TC Coordinator, who monitor, direct and manage the different TC's and are elected by the whole of the membership on a triannual basis.
- The second level consists of a number of TC's, which are represented by a Chair, a Secretary, a TC Liaison Person and a TC EU Liaison Person. They are elected by members in the different TC's only.
The whole structure is set up in such a way that it will be easy for EUROSIS members to contact colleagues in their particular area of research and to react faster with regard to possible future project proposals.
As the EU is looking beyond its borders the structure of this society can be transplanted to other geographical areas of the world, so that future external projects can easily be integrated with the rest of the world. In the first instance, we therefore also look for the same people in the following areas: Middle East - Far East - North America - South America.
TC's are financed by the membership dues of the EUROSIS members.
